This year, women has starred in a different scene. The IWCA (International Women in Coffee Association) Annual Meeting has gathered more than 800 producers to debate the pressing issues of the industry and challenges of the next years.
“This was the first year of numerous started business (and some closed deals) in our cupping sessions. I must highlight the 9th Women Meeting, with important panels presented by well-known names of the industry. We have gathered important contacts, and our associates, numerous prizes in quality contests. The Brazil International Coffee Week is truly a factory of opportunities – The IWCA Brasil has stepped up in visibility and the coffee trading figures”, stated Cíntia Mesquita, president of IWCA.
