2019 Origin Trips
Origin Trips are the ultimate form of connection and interaction with the sources of the coffee we drink. It is an unique opportunity for coffee professionals and enthusiasts to learn the whys, hows, whens with who really matter: the producer.
The Brazil International Coffee Week, as a complete connection platform, invites its attendees to participate in one of the various trips to the most prominent producing regions in Brazil.
Origin Trips are designed for experienced coffee professionals working in green coffee buying, roasting, importing, QC or training labs. Attendees should have familiarity and intermediate skills with the SCA Cupping Protocol.
Groups leave Belo Horizonte on November 23rd, early in the morning from hotels and return to Belo Horizonte International Airport in the afternoon on November 26th. Please arrange air-tickets back home leaving Belo Horizonte in the evening.
Trips include visit to farms of different sizes and management profiles, mills, cupping sessions, talk sessions with producers, co-ops and/or associations.
