International Year of the Woman Farmer Summit
As part of the program of the 2026 International Coffee Week, the final day of SIC (November 13) will feature a program at the SIC Arena dedicated to women working in rural areas, the coffee value chain, and Brazilian agribusiness.
The initiative is aligned with the international mobilization around the International Year of the Woman Farmer, established by the United Nations (UN), and seeks to highlight the strategic role of women in food production, innovation, sustainability, science, management, entrepreneurship, and rural succession.
The Women’s Summit will be a space for inspiration, connection, and recognition, bringing together women from different segments of the value chain — from research and technical assistance to coffee production, cooperatives, trading, exports, coffee shops, and consumption.
More than simply discussing women’s participation in agribusiness, the initiative aims to showcase the real stories of women who are already transforming the sector and to highlight their contribution to the competitiveness, sustainability, and continuity of Brazilian agribusiness.
